About the Album: Katie Stelmanis’ Toronto-based band Austra’s long awaited follow-up to 2011′s Feel It Break is finally here. The record, titled Olympia is out June 18^th. According to a press release, Olympia has moved into a more lyrically confessional realm. The lyrics, written by Stelmanis and backing vocalist Sari Lightman, are “dark,” but it’s still “fundamentally a dance record.” The band co-produced the record with Mike Haliechuk. Additional vocal production is by Damian Taylor whom has worked with artists such as Björk and The Killers and worked with the band on their previous album.

Track Spotlight: “Home” while being topically a sad song, has an upbeat sound and incredibly catchy hook. It’s a breakup song for modern couples.
