Manchester-based indie rock group Everything Everything formed in the late 2000s with the union of drummer Mike, vocalist, guitarist, laptop master Jonathan, bassist Jerry, and guitarist Alex, all of whom share the last name “Everything”… professionally, at least. Genre-defying, the group cites influences as diverse from the Beatles to Bowie, as from R. Kelly to Michael Jackson and also Ezra Pound and Steve Reich. The band signed to XL Recordings imprint Salvia in 2008 and released the single “Suffragette, Suffragette” in late November with plans for a full-length the following year. Arc is a welcome release as their last full length album was in 2010. Check it out starting January 14, 2013.

Track Spotlight: “Cough Cough” is the lead single off this album — it really showcases their multi-genre influences and is an upbeat introduction to “Arc”.
