Marvel has dropped one final trailer for “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”. We have been waiting in anticipation for the six episode series to debut on Disney+. And it will finally be happening on March 19th.
The show will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, where Thanos was defeated and we saw Captain America hand his shield over to Sam. In the series Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, and Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier will team up on a mission against a new global threat. The show is directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman as head writer, and stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Emily VanCamp and Daniel Brühl.
The final trailer before the debut opens with Sam practicing throwing Captain America’s old shield. He’s telling Bucky that it “feels like it belongs to someone else.” It appears as though they are both struggling with the burden of trying to live up to the legacy of Steve aka Captain America. “Symbols are nothing without the men and women that give them meaning,” we hear Sam say in a speech that is honoring Steve. While another part of the trailer features a politician insisting to a crowd, “We need someone to inspire us again.”
The trailer then continues, and is filled with some great action and fighting scenes throughout that are extremely entertaining. The trailer goes all out showing us some real intense scenes. And we were very intrigued by everything that we saw. It teases a very action-packed yet quite emotional journey that we will be able to witness Sam and Bucky embark on together.
This final trailer was incredible and definitely made us even that much more excited for what is sure to be a great new series!
