Book 2 Screen: 'Goosebumps' Finally Hits Theaters

After decades in the making, the creepy world of your fave spooky book series Goosebumps is finally coming to a theater near you!!! Get ready for the Halloween thrill ride as you experience the tales of Goosebumps like you never have before. This adaptation is a bit unique in that it’s not just a retelling of one of our beloved Goosebumps stories. In this big screen version we get to see the Goosebumps world and its creator R.L. Stine in a whole new light. And that’s because this time around, the very real Stine will be a character in the film! The plot follows the story of a version of beloved children’s author Stine as portrayed by legendary comedy actor Jack Black and his teenage daughter as they are forced to deal with all of the monsters of the author’s fictional Goosebumps world invade their real life small town!!! Talk about creepy!!!!

Odeya Rush

This young up-and-coming actress snagged the lead role as Stine’s daughter Hannah opposite Jack Black. You might know Odeya from her roles in The Giver or The Odd Life of Timothy Green (or in We Are What We Are, a very dark cannibal flick, if you’re a super duper horror nerd), but this is Odeya’s first lead in a crazy big budget Hollywood production. We can’t wait to see the beautiful and talented young actress wow Stine fans with her charms!

Hottie Dylan Minnette

With a guest spot on Scandal and a role in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day already under his belt, this dreamy mid-Westerner is also known for his role in the horror cult hit Let Me In opposite Chloe Grace Moretz as well as for playing a young Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men. And now with his role as hottie Zach in Goosebumps helping Hannah and Mr. Stine save the world, he’s sure to catapult into mainstream success, and look good while doing it!!
