HSMTMTS Season 3 Trailer: New Look at What’s in Store for the Wildcats at Camp Shallow Lake!

There’s about a month left until the hit Disney+ show, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, comes back with a new season, with fans excitedly awaiting the release. Disney just dropped a new trailer for the show, giving us our HSMTMTS fix until the show airs on July 27th!

A small sneak peek of the show was released earlier in the month, which gave fans a look at some general plot details, with this new trailer expanding upon that and showing some more of the storylines that we can expect in the new season. We got to see a lot more of the characters who are going to be attending Camp Shallow Lake during the summer, as well as some of the other characters who should make the Wildcats’ time at camp a lot more interesting.

The new season of the show, which already has powerhouses as series regulars, namely Joshua Bassett and Olivia Rodrigo, also seems to have a star-studded guest-star roster. In the new trailer, we get another look at Jason Earles, who plays counselor Dewey Wood, and Corbin Bleu, playing himself, as well as introductions to two new characters, played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jojo Siwa.

With the new setting of a sleepaway camp, things are definitely going to be different, and we can’t wait to see how this pans out for the characters. As announced by Corbin, Camp Shallow Lake will be putting on a performance of Frozen, and the pressure really seems to be on! Even some of the best performers, like Ricky, will have to work extra hard to get a part – or, as Carlos said, will have to do more than just “Z-Efron” their way into a role. The Wildcats will also have to go without their phones for two weeks, meaning their sole focus will be on their performances. We can’t help but think this might make tensions even higher!

All in all, this new season seems like it’ll be super entertaining, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for our favorite Wildcats at Camp Shallow Lake! With the new season being released on July 27th, you’ll definitely want to be sure to catch up on the last two seasons of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, streaming exclusively on Disney+.
