The Kids Choose Jack Griffo, and So Do We!!

A few months back, we did a profile on the industrious young Jack Griffo, who turned heads on the first season of Nickelodeon’s new The Thundermans.  Now, he is nominated for Best Actor at the 2014 Kid’s Choice Awards, just as he is gearing up for his show’s second season! We caught up with the rising star for a brief followup interview:

Jack Griffo imageYOUNG ADULT: How much fun is it to be back on The Thundermans?

JACK GRIFFO: I’m not yet back! The first table read of Season 2 is March 31st. I’m so stoked!

YA: What are you looking forward to most about Season 2?

JG: I’m most looking forward to just making more episodes. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for my character and my TV superfamily!

YA: Any secrets you can let us in on or promises you can make?

JG: Something has changed about the set for Season 2. I’ll let you figure it out when it airs!

YA: What do you feel fans have responded to most about the show?

JG: Surprisingly, fans love the rabbit! He’s the unexpected star of the show.

YA: What does the recognition from the Kids Choice Awards mean to you?

JG: It’s awesome to be recognized in the category especially being so new. The show’s only been on for 5 months so it’s totally unexpected. It truly means the world and, in a way, is a great payoff for all the hard work!

YA: If you had to pick just one of these terms to define you, which would it be and why: kid, young man, actor, artist

JG: I’m a kid! I play around and have fun. I can play the part, but “being professional” is really the last thing I want to do.

YA: Which medium do you enjoy working in the most: TV or film?

JG: As of now, I really enjoy TV. To be fair, I’ve done a whole lot more TV than film but that’s where I’m at now.

YA: What would you love to be involved in after The Thundermans?

JG: I’d really do anything I feel like I can bring light to. I love TV but I also wouldn’t shy away from a film I’m right for!
