2) Daft Punk – Random Access Memories (10th Anniversary)

Band Daft Punk is celebrating the anniversary of their progressive concept album Random Access Memories with this rerelease. If you like Daft Punk or disco funk electro pop. This album took 5 years to record and released in 2013 and this anniversary edition is a great way to celebrate this masterpiece of an album. 

3) Artifacts of an Ex – Jennifer Chen

In this creative romance novel from Jennifer Chen titled Artifacts of an Ex, follow Chloe Chang as she decides to uproot her life thus causing a failed relationship. She then puts all of her memories into a little box and starts buying up other boxes from other failed relationships and creates a museum of exes. 4) Dashing Through the Snow

This Friday, November 17th, catch this Christmas extravaganza from director Tim Story. After an eventful night with his daughter, a divorced Atlanta social worker meets a man who takes him on a journey and gives new life to the holiday season. Starring Lil Rel Howery, Kevin Hart and Ludacris, this is definitely a seasonal movie that you don’t want to miss. Round up the whole family and check out this film on Disney +.

5) Frost Children – Hearth Room 

Sibling duo Frost Children has announced the release of their new album Hearth Room. If you like a good old fashioned acoustic pop song, you are going to dig this full-length project. It is inspired by bedroom pop with influenced from folk songs. The song “Marigold” off of this project is the perfect representation of all that Frost Children offers in this surreal LP. Check it out wherever you listen to music this Friday. 

6) Pritty – Keith F. Miller Jr.

In this young adult novel about two boys who get caught up in the thick something they shouldn’t be, they have to learn how to overcome challenges to save everyone they love. Join characters Jay and Leroy in a whirlwind of inner-city drama and emotions. Author Keith F. Miller Jr. is able to bring this story to life in a way that we have never seen before. If you love a good drama novel, you are definitely going to want to pick this up Tuesday, November 14th. 

7) Plain White T’s – Plain White T’s

Hey there Delilah – make sure to give this new self-titled album from the band Plain White T’s a quick listen. This rock band from Illinois has made plenty of hit songs in their day and they are coming together on this project to create something that really represents their journey over the 20+ years that they have been travelling and writing as a band. This album is releasing in preparation for their tour in 2024. If you like the Plain White T’s, make sure to get your tickets to see them live!

8) When Time Got Louder 

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled this week for the Canadian film When Time Got Louder. Watch along as Abbie goes off to college and leaves the whole life that she has built including her parents and her autistic non-verbal brother in her wake. This drama starring Willow Shields (Prim from The Hunger Games series) is realistic and relatable and definitely worth a watch with the whole family. If you are looking for the perfect emotional fall drama, this movie should be at the top of your watchlist.
