Revolution is back for it’s second season in a new time slot. Set six months after the events of Season 1, the story is broken into three storylines.
Have you been watching? It’s a new entirely new world for our stars, even more unsafe and mysterious than ever. In last season’s finale, our heroes made the treacherous journey to the Tower and were able to turn on the power, but at what cost? The effects of their trip turn out to be catastrophic for everyone.
Now, Miles, Aaron and Rachel have found themselves in a mysterious small town, in Texas, where Rachel unpredictably encounters an important person from her past. At yet another place, ex-villain Tom Neville is haggard, slightly bearded, and searching for his wife when his son Jason comes to lead him home. Well, not actually home. The zoom out reveals that the entire settlement they’re in is just a gigantic tent city.
Some time later, Tom considers suicide over the loss of his wife. Jason interrupts, just in time for a boat flying the U.S. flag and manned by uniformed soldiers to pull into port. This boat has got info about who was involved with the power going back on, and Tom is inspired by this to shave and find out what they know.
An attack on Willoughby by a warrior clan from the Plains Nation threatens everyone. In the attack, Miles is captured and brought before the tribe’s leader, Titus Andover. Aaron is killed protecting his girlfriend, but unexpectedly opens his eyes in the final moments of the episode.
Titus’s men strap Miles down to a cart and begin the process of draining his blood. Rachel appears and rescues Miles. They escape back to Willoughby, taking Titus’s wife, Jessica, with them. The war tribe advances on the town, but Miles threatens to kill Titus’ wife if they attack.
Back at Willoughby, the town is saved when the Patriots, wielding assault rifles, kill all the attackers. Meanwhile, Titus is next to his dead wife and cries over her body after it is discovered she took her own life.
In Pottsboro, North Texas, Charlie finds herself in trouble in a bar. Monroe arrives and kills everyone in the bar to rescue her. Charlie wakes up in the middle of a thunderstorm with Monroe. He tells Charlie he is doing this for a “show of faith”.
