What a difference 6 years can make!
This week Selena Gomez released a new music video for her latest single “Good For You” featuring ASAP Rocky and it is quite a sultry sight for sore eyes. The 22-year- old pop sensation really heats up the screen in a wet white t-shirt and even less clothing in a steamy shower scene. She’s stepped away from her Disney image before with singles like “Come and Get it,” but this one really steps up the sex appeal. It’s clear Selena Gomez is no longer our favorite wizard.
The video is not only a far jump from her wizarding days but quite a leap from her 2009 debut single, “Falling Down.” And so in honor of her latest sensuous single, YA is throwing all the way, way back to that debut hit song, when the then seventeen- year-old was known as Selena Gomez and The Scene. While both music videos feature Selena singing to camera with no tangible story, the real life coming-of-age fairytale is quite clear with music videos side by side. Selena is definitely all grown up!
