Each week, an accomplished published author takes over the YEM Twitter account for Thursday’s Twitter Takeover. Each week, the YA author will answer questions, tell stories, and give advice on our social media. This week young adult author Nita Bauer will be taking over our Twitter account.

A retired US Air Force veteran with 20 years of service, Nita Bauer currently works in the IT department for a Texas law firm. She has a BA in Social Work and a dual MA in Management and Information Systems Management. She’s been an advocate for individuals with disabilities, a volunteer for Special Olympics, and founder of a short-lived non-profit called In a Spirit of Giving, as well as a Toastmaster, and a coach and Introduction Leader for Landmark Worldwide.  She’s also a newly certified Claim Your Life consultant with Theta Healing and Akashic Records certifications. She co-facilitates a mastermind group called “Life by Design.”  In her downtime, you’ll find her at home with her family in the Texas Hill Country surrounded by a menagerie of pets.
