It’s been said that they are willing to put just about anything on Broadway these days. And film after film has been rehashed, recycled and rejiggered for the Great White Way, with varying results: while Big and Carrie were pretty big bombs,Newsies, Billy Elliot, Bring It On and Legally Blonde were all hits. In consideration of the opening of Aladdin, yet another Disney flick being thrown into production on Broadway, it got us thinking: what else could potentially work under stage lights?
