Two celebs announced their engagements this weekend!

Over the weekend, two of our favorite musical men announced that they were engaged to marry their longtime loves.

First was singer Ed Sheeran. He announced that he is now engaged to his girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn. Ed and Cherry have been dating for three years. She was even the inspiration for Ed’s hit song, “Perfect.”

The two have been engaged for about a month and Ed took to social media this weekend to announce the engagement. On his Instagram account, Ed wrote, “Got myself a fiancé just before new year. We are very happy and in love, and our cats are chuffed as well xx”. Check out the cute photo of the happy couple below:

But Ed isn’t the only one who announced his engagement this weekend. TV and Broadway vet Darren Criss announced that he proposed to his girlfriend of seven years, Mia Swier. The Glee star is currently starring in the newest season of American Crime Story.

Darren also announced the engagement on Instagram saying, “Mia and I have had seven and a half years of fun, wacky, wonderful, CRAZY adventures together. And I’m happy to announce that we’re kicking those adventures up a notch. We’re goin for it. To boldly go where neither of us have gone before. Engage.”
