About the Album: WAITC has a lot to prove off the heels of their successful debut album, Best Intentions, and they know it. After four amazing and whirlwind years, the group took their time putting together Weird Kids. Lead singer Tay Jardine said of the album, “I don’t know that I’ve felt this way about our other records…I’ve been proud of our band for finishing an album. I was happy we got it done. But I’m really proud of this record, and that’s not something I can say easily…I’m as happy with it as I possibly could be.” Nothing less should be expected from a group that gained worldwide recognition with their debut. Single Spotlight: “The Best Thing That Never Happened” is endlessly catchy and a perfect tune to showcase Jardine’s strong vocals. Expect to hear a lot of it in the early part of next year. |
