About the Movie: An entangled dramedy that takes it’s name from the suburb of New Jersey, The Oranges follows two inextricably entwined families: there’s the Ostroffs, bickering parents David and Paige, plus children Vanessa and Chris. Across the street, there are the Wallings: cowardly Terry, bossy Cathy, and foxy daughter Nina. After Nina breaks up with her fiancé (at the ripe old age of 24) the prodigal daughter returns home. Both sets of parents hope for a match between Chris and Nina, but it’s David whom catches Nina’s eye. The enduring friendship between the Walling and Ostroff families is tested when Nina enters into an affair with David.
