YA TV Review – American Idol, S13E11,12,13 | Young Adult Mag



After a week full of great performances, the Top 13 finalists have been chosen. The girls started the week, with only 10 of the 15 hopefuls getting the chance to sing for America. Some of our favorites that made it through to sing live include Majesty Rose and Emily Piriz. But our vote is going to M.K. Nobilette, the first openly gay competitor on the show. She is really digging deep in her performances and definitely deserves props. It will be exciting to watch her journey this season.

The boys were next to sing live, with rad performances from confident rocker, Caleb Johnson and many more. Joining Caleb in the Top 13 voted by America is Ben Briley, Jessica Meuse, MK Nobilette, Emily Piriz, Alex Preston, Dexter Roberts, Majesty Rose, Malaya Watson and Sam Woolf.  The judges used their wild card votes to keep C.J. Harris, Jena Irene and Kristen O’Connor in the game for next week. Get excited because you can now vote during the episode as voting will open at the top of performance shows!
