The Little Mermaid is a live-action adaptation of Disney’s 1989 film of the same name. Starring Halle Bailey, the movie focuses on Ariel, the youngest daughter of King Triton, who longs to explore more of the world beyond the sea and while visiting the surface, falls in love with Prince Eric. Fantasy, romance, scenery, and the legendary Under the Sea number are all reasons to watch this live-action remake.
4. Prom Pact
Starring Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Milo Manheim, and Margaret Cho, Prom Pact is a teen romantic comedy which first premiered on Disney Channel. The film is set in the height of prom season and follows Mandy Yang who is more focused on getting into her dream school. When Mandy is waitlisted, she is determined to do anything to get herself in, which means asking for help from a popular jock Graham Lansing. As Mandy becomes Graham’s tutor, she learns there is more to him and more to life than school. 5. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Miles Morales returns again to save the multiverse along with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to try and defeat a powerful foe while redefining what it means to be a hero.
