“So Electric” – Wild Future featured on Gossip Girl

It’s appropriate for a band called Wild Future to underscore a scene in the 6.6 episode of GG “Where the Vile Things Are.” Blair finally works up the courage to stand up to her mother and resign from Waldorf Designs. Let’s hope she can stand by her guns. Wild Future is a collaboration between artists Alain Whyte and JoAnna James.

“Beauty School Dropout” – GLEE cast featured on Glee

Grease is one of the most beloved musicals…ever. It only makes sense that sooner or later they would have a full episode (4.6) to it, appropriately entitled “Glease.” With Darren Criss’s soaring vocals, “Beauty School Dropout”
was the standout in that episode.

“Walking Blind” – Aidan Hawken and Carina Round featured on Vampire
Diaries

Stefan and Elena are a modern day Elizabeth and Darcy. They always break up and make up which provides ample opportunity for the use of melancholic break up tunes. Walking Blind is a perfect example. At the
end of 4.6 episode aptly entitled “We All Go A Little Mad Sometimes” Stefan and Elena part ways once
again over the lovely melodies of Hawken and Round.

“One More Night” – Maroon 5 featured on Arrow

“One More Night” perfectly details the push
and pull of a double life and a fraught
relationship — making it perfect for Tommy
to “get served” when Laurel & Tommy catch up
with Carter in the 1.6 episode of Arrow,
“Legacies”. The song is featured quite
prominently, as it’s also a great, up tempo
party tune.
