The Sing Off is back! “The Sing-Off” originally premiered in December 2009 as a five-night event and became a weekly series in 2011. This December, it will take on more of a holiday feel. This year’s season will run for seven episodes, with the finale set for telecast on Monday, Dec. 23 with a two-hour episode. The program is a showcase for the country’s top acappella groups performing popular songs in new and innovative ways. “The Sing-Off” has no lip-synching, back-up bands or safety net. The winners get a recording contract and $100,000. Stakes are high and dreams are bigger than ever. Nick Lachey returns as host. Joining him are musicians, Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman. The Sing Off premieres December 9th on NBC. Check local listings for times.
