The X Factor Recap

The X Factor image

The X-Factor has gone a little wonky this season — enough with the group antics. Simon may have jumped the shark on this one. Without getting crazy confusing, the following groups have made it through to the live rounds:

Restless Road with their rendition of “Somebody Like You”

Sweet Suspense with their version of “Wishing on a Star”
Alex & Sierra with “You’re the One That I Want” from Grease and finally,
Roxxy Montana with “Man in the Mirror.”

The judges seemed to favor Alex and Sierra this week, despite the fact that their song was toothache inducing cute.

And for the eliminations we have:

Girls United singing “Yeah (3x)”
Wild Thingz singing “Party Rock Anthem” because I don’t know why
Glamour beating it out to “Cups (When I’m Gone)”
Yellow House Canyon with “Hell on Heels” which it was
Forever in Your Mind singing “Lovebug”
Good News, “Landslide” which turned out to be very bad news for them.

Did your favorites make it through? Are you glad this stage of the competition is over? Demi Lovato is the saving grace of the show, that’s for sure. Tune into The X-Factor on Fox to see which of your favorites advance. Check local listings for times.
