Break Out The Tissues for The Originals S01E11 ‘Après Moi, Le Déluge’


The Originals went big last night, revealing that an ominous opponent is already amongst the group. A favorite character’s life is taken as well.  In an attempt to finish the Harvest and save her peers from peril, Davina voluntarily allows Sophie to slit her throat, but like most of Sophie’s plans, things go awry. None of the sacrificed witches come back to life, including Sophie’s niece, and no one knows who took on their powers.

 

It was Marcel who took Davina’s seeming death worse than anyone, getting extremely angry and full of rage. In a twist no one saw coming, Klaus follows Marcel to offer some friendly compassion and even a hug. Surprising, seeing as Klaus has shown a tendency to kill rather than show emotion.  Shocker of the series!  So who did take on the witches’ powers after all? It turns out Sabine is a phony. She’s actually the infamous Celeste DuBois. Elijah and Haley continue their romance and come closer than ever to sharing their first kiss. They definitely have amazing chemistry! Don’t miss next week’s episode!
