The Vampire Diaries

Original author: CWTV

Last month we watched Elena turn off her humanity and burn her childhood house down, with her dead brother’s body still in it. Now this month focuses mostly on still trying to find the cure and Elena going bad. Alongside with a rising Silus (who can change his appearance into anyone) is only getting stronger and stronger

We start off with Elena wanting to return to high school. Damon orders her not to eat anyone, but we soon learn that the sire bond had been broken when she turned off her humanity. During a cheerleading competition Elena followed a girl from another team and fed on her. After the competition, Elena decides to throw a big house party at the Salvatore house, but when Sheriff Forbes tries to shut it down Elena attacks her. Caroline gets in the middle of it and stops the attack. After that the two of them get into a fight and Caroline almost gets staked, luckily Stefan and Damon was there to put an end to it. Damon realized that Mystic falls wasn’t the place for a rampaging vampire so he takes Elena to New York. To her they were just going there for fun, but for Damon it was to get more leads on the whereabouts of Kathrine. Eventually Elena catches on to his plan and joins forces with Rebecca, deciding to go on the hunt for Kathrine on their own. Not far behind them the Salvatore brothers follow and soon find Rebecca sitting in a diner with Kathrine. Pretending to be Kathrine, Elena had gone to meet a mysterious person named “em” who soon turns out to be one of the original vampires Elijah. He and Elena talk with each other in an alley, he notices Elena has turned off her humanity and he questions why. She tells him that Kathrine had killed her brother, he didn’t know.

While Stefan goes on the search for Elena, Damon and Rebecca escort Kathrine back to her house to find the cure. She slips them a fake as she ran away. Rebecca takes it, but nothing happened and Kathrine was nowhere to be found. Kathrine Finds Elijah and goes to speak with him, but he is upset about Jeremy’s death. She claimed it was what she had to do to stay alive, but he didn’t believe her and refused to help her any longer.

Later on Kathrine collects the real cure from someone she had compelled; she then contacted Elijah and got all emotional, gave him the cure and walked away. Not far, Rebecca is sitting on a car she begs Elijah for the cure and tells him that she wants to be human. He doesn’t hand it over to her but at least the cure was now in the hands of the original Vampires.

Elena sits in the diner with Stefan and Damon and tells them she doesn’t want the cure. She snaps the neck of a waitress and blames them for her death. If they keep trying to get her to take the cure, more and more people will die she tells them.

Bonnie has also been busy. Silus has taken the form of her teacher Prof. Shane and brainwashed Bonnie into thinking that the final massacre will bring great things and that she will have to power to bring them back. Bonnie gets a hold of her mom and twelve witches came to cleanse her, not knowing what was really in store. The twelve witches connected to one another and just as Asia was about to stab bonnie, Caroline jumps in, using the same knife she plunged it into Asia. Killing ALL twelve witches and completing the final massacre. Bonnie wakes up and Stefan is there to greet her. She has no recollection of anything since the island, which leaves it up to Stefan to tell her the news about Jeremy.

Klaus and Haley end up having sex after he rescues her from a vampire and hosts her with a lovely dinner. He notices a mark on her body that reminds him of a werewolf clan from
Louisiana. Their love filled night however was no more than a one night stand. We all know he loves Caroline. Silus gets his clutch around Klaus when he stabs him with the white oak stake and leaves a piece of it inside him. Or so we thought. With Caroline’s help, he discovered that the pain was all in his head. He then asks her if they can be friends. Caroline continues to contact Tyler, but is soon hit with a shot of reality when she receives a note from him saying that he’s giving Matt the deed to his house. That’s when she realized that he’s never coming home.

In just one month so much has happened, and next month should be just as action packed. Now that Elijah and Rebecca have the cure in hand what’s going to be done with it, Will Rebecca finally be human again? Elena seems to be getting more and more evil as this season progresses. Will she take off and do her own thing? I don’t think the Salvatore brother’s will let this one out of their sight. How is Bonnie going to take the death of her previous lover? And speaking of lovers….Caroline and Klaus? They better just get right to it because I think those two are a match made in heaven. All these questions can be answered next month in the Vampire Diaries.
