Lacey and Danny are getting cosy when Danny gets a text that Vik’s body has been found. He rushes to meet Jo in the woods and they find that the body has been moved. Big oops. When Danny gets home he finds out that the body had already been recovered by the police somewhere else – they think Vik was in a car crash. Turns out he also had a nice insurance policy on himself. Danny and Jo are understandably worried about who actually moved the body; is there a blackmail attempt in the offing? Kyle isn’t convinced that what happened was an accident, but since there’s no evidence of foul play, he can’t stop the burial. He also tells an increasingly curious Jo that if she’s so concerned about the fight that she walked into between he and Tess, she should speak to her mother.

Tess is already busy, though, being chewed out by Karen; for some reason she confessed to the Desais that she had known Vik was alive this whole time and Karen was understandably furious, throwing Tess out of the house. When Jo asks her father what is going on with their mother, Kyle tells her that she has to go ask her mother about it. This leads to a confrontation between Jo and her mother. Danny tries to get Karen to forgive Tess. He says that his dad was a bad guy and that it isn’t Tess’ fault. Karen wants nothing to do with Tess anymore. Karen is going to be just fine though; the $10 million from the life insurance shows up and Karen doesn’t let the fact that it’s in Danny’s name curb her spending habits. Danny, deciding something good should come out of the money, buys his crew tickets to Jo’s mom’s charity dinner.

Meanwhile, Kyle doesn’t think that the car accident was an accident and decides to dig around further. At the charity dinner, Karen is intent on making a scene, and Danny, upset, talks to Lacey outside. She tells him to tell everyone that he didn’t kill his aunt and when he’s unresponsive tells him he needs to seek professional help. Kyle comes home to Tess who confesses that she was in debt to Vikram. She had a baby adopted before she had Jo, and Vikram knew and kept it secret. Danny goes home to his mother. She’s wondering why he’s pissed, and he tells her that he killed his father and he knows it was her that moved the body. However, it’s clear from her face that she had no idea about anything he is talking about – until now. Is she going to flip? And is Danny going to end up back in jail? Tune in next week to find out!
