Star-Crossed had some intense moments this week, mostly as a result of Sophia’s desire to get more involved. The episode started with Roman being enraged that the guards are looking for restricted technology in his family pod and they basically trash it. Later, his mother shows him that they were in fact right to look; his father hid a secret cell phone. Roman takes the phone to school to try and analyze it and find out what data his late father was trying to hide.

Roman has few people he can turn to with this kind of information and ends up asking Julia with help. Julia introduces him to Lukas, a tech genius. Emery tries to ask Julia what’s up with her newly close relationship with Roman and she is cagey and doesn’t answer. That causes tensions between the friends. Grayson asks Emery for forgiveness, but she’s still understandably skeptical. Meanwhile, Sophia decides to join the swim team and blows everyone away with her speed. She is poisoned by rivals causing an full-on brawl. It’s dangerous to be excellent. We learn through watching the video that Gloria’s son’s father is Nox himself.
