This episode of PLL saw our Liars dress in bridal apparel and revisiting what we thought about A, as well as a breakup. We start with a cutaway that we revisit later in the episode, so more on that later. Spencer and Emily find photographs of a missing girl and a message that says “You know me, Spencer. You killed me.” We already had our suspicions about Spencer and this did little to help. Meanwhile, we see Detective Holbrook approaching Mrs. DiLaurentis that the body found in the grave did not have a fracture in the arm bone. This contradicts the photo she gave the police when she reported Ali missing. Holbrook mentions that the judge has granted permission for Ali’s grave to be exhumed. These two things combined give Mrs. D plenty to worry about. Jason shares a memory with Emily in trying to unpack the mystery. He tells her about a fight that Ali and Mrs. D had over a bully…and Mrs. D mentions Spencer.

Ella returns but ends up fighting with Aria as she’s super sensitive. Hanna tries to apologize to Travis. Mrs. D grows suspicious of Ashley when she finds out she hired the girls to model the wedding dresses for the charity event. She also caught Ashley snooping in Ali’s room. Veronica fires Dean after he fell asleep on top of Spencer, which is as awkward as it sounds. Veronica shares a memory with Spencer: Ali offered to help her clean up the backyard after Spencer and Melissa fought. Spencer doesn’t remember. At the bridal charity event, Ella tells Aria that Zack proposed. Emily and Hanna find a bulletin board in Ali’s closet and find a password to a protected email account. Emily uses it to email Ali.

Spencer tries to keep the trail hot on Mrs. D after she sees her hand a curious bag to a charity guest. She takes off through the woods to try and find out more about it. As she’s running, her veil gets caught in a bear-claw trap on the ground. Scared, she retreats. Aria, Emily and Hanna get a call from Ali after she got their email. She tells them they need to meet her in Philadelphia. When Spencer returns, the girls help her out of her dress, only to find FINGER BONES inside of her bridal corset and a note that reads “Wait til the rest of me comes out of the grave.” As the girls are about to head to Philadelphia, Paige comes to Emily to apologize yet again. Emily accepts her apology but can’t trust Paige any longer and breaks up with her. In Philadelphia, the girls converge on an abandoned building. Inside, they hear front door open and turn around to a familiar face, that we can’t see. Could it be “A”? Who do you think it is?
