Every week, we post three of our favorite new music videos to hit the web so that you can get current with your music whilst enjoying a feast for your ears and eyes. The style and tone may differ somewhat from week to week or video to video, and between young musicians and old, but the awesomeness will remain consistent. Feel free to do a little shimmy if you feel it‘s appropriate … Enjoy!
Nicole Sherzinger “On the Rocks”
Nicole Sherzinger of Pussy Cat Dolls fame has been a little quiet since her debut solo album Killer Love which premiered in 2011. Instead she‘s been concentrating on her TV work as a judge on both the US and the UK version of Simon Cowell‘s X Factor. Well, we‘ve missed her and we‘re glad she‘s back with this more ballady second single taken from her forthcoming album. And we must say she‘s looking stunning and feisty in the black and white video. Check out the video here:
Ten Walls “Walking With Elephants”
This is no doubt the dance tune of the summer, and we‘re glad Ten Walls got round to releasing this sweepingly cinematic video to accompany it. It‘s looks great, even if we have no clue who the amphibious guys in black and white jumpsuits are. Do they represent the next step in human evolution? We hope so, because their running and diving game is on point. Check out the video here:
Gorgon City “Unmissable”
Gorgon City haven‘t yet hit the big time in the US yet, but they had some chart success in the UK with last year‘s “Real” featuring Yasmin. This is a bassline heavy dance happy house anthem pulled from their debut album Sirens, and the video is a simple but effective affair … a lot can be accomplished with some red lights and a smoke machine!
