Our Harry Potter takeover isn’t over yet! First YEM sat down with Nicholas Podany, star of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway. But that’s not all! We also played a fun game with Nicholas. And since we’ve stepped into the Harry Potter universe, the game revolved around a wizard’s best accessory. That’s right – the wand!

In NYC, YEM and Nicholas played a fun game of Guess the Wand. On stage, Nicholas has a wand of his own as he plays the role of Albus Potter. Fun fact – Nicholas even told us that his first stage wand was thin. But after a quick-change backstage, the wand broke! Now, Nicholas has a thicker wand on stage each night on Broadway.

A wizard’s best accessory. That’s right – the wand!

Now, the game is simple: we show you the wand, you have to guess what wizard it belongs to! We’ll name three possible wizards that it could belong to. And Nicholas did the rest! These wands could belong to any character that attended Hogwarts. Whether they be from the Harry Potter series, the Fantastic Beasts series, or Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Nicholas has definitely emerged himself in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Not only does he play Harry Potter’s son Albus every night on Broadway, but he scored 7/8 in the wand game!
