The trailer for Space Jam: A New Legacy is finally out and it does not disappoint! The movie has many cameos of characters and some of them were even shown in the trailer. The movie premieres in theatres and on HBO Max on July 16th and we can not wait.
In the trailer we see Lebron James finding himself in Tune World. This is because Lebron’s son was taken away by AI-G Rhythm. And Lebron has to get his son back home, but there’s only one way to do it. Lebron must lead a team of Looney Tunes to victory over digitized champions on the basketball court. Some of the cartoon characters we see are Bugs Bunny, Marvin The Martian, Porky, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner, Lola Bunny and Granny. Also appearing are Foghorn Leghorn, Gossamer, Sylvester, Tweety, Speedy Gonzales, Elmer Fudd, and Yosemite Sam.
The trailer is also filled with so many cool cameos from other franchises including Scooby-Doo and gang of Mystery Inc. in the Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo, The Flintstones, Thundercats, Jabberjaw, Magilla Gorilla, Yogi Bear, and some of the drivers from Wacky Races. There are also cameos from live-action movies and TV show characters such as War Boys from Mad Max: Fury Road, the evil monkeys from The Wizard of Oz, the dragons from Game of Thrones, Amazons from Wonder Woman, and even the gang from A Clockwork Orange.
Space Jam: A New Legacy stars LeBron James, Zendaya as Lola Bunny, Sonequa Martin-Green as Kamiyah James, Jeff Bergman as as Bugs Bunny, Sylvester and Yosemite Sam, and Eric Bauza as Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, and Tweety. It is directed by Malcolm D. Lee, scripted by Juel Taylor & Tony Rettenmaier & Keenan Coogler & Terence Nance, and is produced by Ryan Coogler, LeBron James, Maverick Carter and Duncan Henderson.
