The best Christmas songs of the 2010s

Christmas is almost here! In fact, it’s only days away. And one of the best traditions around the holiday season is listening to the cheerful music that plays through December.

There are so many holiday classic songs that people love to hear during the winter. But sometimes, the music industry’s most popular singers will create a new Christmas song of their own! With the 2010s coming to an end, let’s look at some of the Christmas songs that have debuted during this decade. In other words, these new songs quickly emerged as future classics!

Underneath the Tree

Kelly Clarkson’s album, Wrapped in Red, was released in 2013. And the album was filled with new holiday songs that dominated the radio. (Plus, a promotion by red retailer Target also didn’t hurt). We all knew Kelly Clarkson had impressive pipes. And now hearing her during the holidays has become a must-do!

You Make it Feel Like Christmas

Gwen Stefani was a perfect choice for a fun and festive holiday album. And of course, her country beau and fellow The Voice judge, Blake Shelton, joined her for a fun original song. Part holiday single, part country love song, this song made every listen ship these two performers. If you weren’t already on team Gwen/Blake, this song definitely changed your mind!

Christmas Tree Farm

2019 was a big year for Taylor Swift. She released her longest album to date, appeared in the movie Cats, and even had time to release a new holiday song! Taylor’s childhood was the inspiration for this song. Where she lived on an actual Christmas Tree Farm. Also rumor has it, Taylor wrote this song, produced it, and released it all in one week!

So, what’s your favorite Christmas song? For instance, is it a newer classic like these? Let us know in the comments!
