Disney+ just revealed the official trailer and key art for the new show Big Shot! It will be a 10-episode series and is premiering on April 16th.
According to the synopsis for the show, Big Shot follows Coach Korn (John Stamos). Who, after getting ousted from the NCAA, is given a chance for redemption with a coaching position at an elite private high school. He soon learns that the teenage players require empathy and vulnerability — foreign concepts for the stoic coach. By learning how to connect with his players, Marvyn starts to grow into the person he’s always hoped to be. The girls learn to take themselves more seriously, finding their footing both on and off the court.
David E. Kelley, Dean Lorey and Brad Garrett are the creators and executive producers of Big Shot. Bill D’Elia is also serving as an executive producer. Big Shot John Stamos who we all know as Uncle Jesse from Full House and Fuller House. The show also stars Jessalyn Gilsig from Glee and Yvette Nicole Brown from Drake and Josh and Community. The show also features Richard Robichaux, Sophia Mitri Schloss and Nell Verlaque. Tiana Le, Monique Green, Tisha Custodio and Cricket Wampler round out the cast.
The official trailer for Big Shot was released this past week. It is filled with very inspirational moments throughout that take place between Coach Korn and the girls of the new high school basketball team he is teaching. Through the trailer we also see the challenge that Coach Korn faces when coaching the high schoolers. This as opposed to the college team he is used to and the difficulties he may possibly face trying to adjust. The key art features Coach Korn and the girl high school basketball team in their uniforms on a basketball court staring straight on as if they can take on anything and anyone.
