The Maze Runner

The verdict is in…everyone loves The Maze Runner! Well, maybe not everyone, as one hater points out (below), but overall, fan reaction has been almost unanimously positive.

What the one Hater that we could find says:
Hmmm, really? They changed everything that was important? As reported on Hypable, the changes that were made to the film did not alter the story significantly. In visual media (movies and TV), urgency and intensity have to be cranked up to the maximum, whereas in print media tension can be built slowly, over time. You can check out some of those changes over at Hypable.

The Maze Runner easily took the weekend as the number 1 movie in America, as it rightly should have. Hopefully the film will generate enough money and buzz throughout its run to get the rest of the series onto the big screen! We want to see Dylan O’Brien, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Kayla Scodelario, Dexter Darden, Ki Hong Lee, and the rest of the surviving Gladers in book to screen adaptations of James Dashner’s The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure!
