Developments on new CBS miniseries The Dovekeepers – Based on the bestselling novel by Alice Hoffman, Dovekeepers chronicles the events at Masada in southern Israel, where a Jewish fortress was sieged by Roman forces in 70 CE. Diego Boneta (Rock of Ages, Pretty Little Liars) will play Amram, a man who has relationships with two of the central female characters.

Teen Wolf’s Brian Patrick Wade is set to join the cast of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The Avengers TV spinoff follows the agents of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. Wade will play clumsily titled superhero Absorbing Man.

Even more Flash news! Secret Life alum Greg Finley is attached as Tony Woodward, aka Girder, on the new spinoff. In the comic, Woodward transforms into Girder after being hurled into a vat of contaminated steel, in yet another superhero-making freak accident. We’re happy to see Jack’s back!

Glee­-kers rejoice! Our fave Max Adler is returning to the show! Yep, we’ll get to see lapsed mean jock Dave Karofsky, now potentially playing a love interest of Blaine’s! We can’t wait.

Speaking of, get ready for yet another musical that will fill the void of Glee when that show flies away.  The Sound of the Sumners, a musical family comedy, is currently in development.
