The final season of the hit series Love, Victor premieres on June 15 on Hulu and fans are on the edge of their seats waiting for it. One big question everyone wants answered is, who will Victor end up with? Rahim, the new boy, or Benji, the ex-boyfriend? And what’s going on with everyone else, like Felix? Speaking of Felix, let’s look at how his actor, Anthony Turpel, has evolved over the course of the show. In the beginning, Turpel said he actually saw Love, Simon sometime before auditioning for Love, Victor and really enjoyed it. He “thought the message was wonderful” and “was extremely excited because [he] loved the world it created.”. Additionally, Turpel is very thankful to be a part of such a groundbreaking show that can help anyone who feels confused about their sexuality.
He described Felix as a loveable guy who accepts everyone for who they are. That is why he and Victor were able to become friends so quickly. Felix developed further after realizing there was more to life than simply helping others. He learns more about himself too. Turpel has really enjoyed bringing Felix to life alongside everyone in the cast, even with Bebe Wood, who plays Lake and Felix’s short-term girlfriend. He states that “Not only am I able to do what I love most, I also get to do it with people I love.”. It’s plain to see that Love, Victor has really raised the bar for having positive relationships with fellow cast members.
It’s going to be a very emotional goodbye when season three finishes filming. When asked what advice he’d give to up and coming actors, he said “it’s so important to just be yourself. To be genuine. And to find others that fit with that person.” Our hats off to you, Turpel.
