ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Robyn Bavati was born in Melbourne, Australia, the fourth of five children. She has taught creative dance, worked as a shiatsu therapist, and published short stories and feature articles in magazines and newspapers both in Australia and overseas.
After living in Israel for seventeen years, Robyn returned to Melbourne and studied creative writing. She has a diploma in Professional Writing & Editing and a Master of Creative Media (creative writing stream) from RMIT.
Nowadays, Robyn lives in Elsternwick, a twelve-minute walk from the house she grew up in. She likes chocolate, movies, walks on the beach, eating out with family or friends, and Japanese tea. She is married and has three grown-up children and a cat called Chino, who likes to sit on her lap when she reads.
