DWTS Recap Part 1 Finals

Last night was the beginning of the end for our remaining Dancing couples. The first part of the two-part finale was filled with emotion – from excitement to terror to sadness. We said goodbye to…Bill and Emma. While it was bittersweet, Bill was pretty relieved and said he wasn’t sure he had another dance in him. Last night was structured into two and a half dances…What’s a half-dance you ask? It’s a samba relay with all four couples dancing a few steps of samba. It made for an interesting dance break and each couple ranged from 5 to 2 points for their effors. Not enough to keep someone who was going home there but enough to keep everyone on their toes, pardon the pun. Who is going to the finals you ask? Amber and Derek and Corbin and Karina. It’s not that surprising but hey, they did a great job nailing their Charleston, Quickstep and freestyles respectively. Now onto jeopardy — that limbo that no one wants to be in. It was Jack and Cheryl and Bill and Emma. We now know that Bill and Emma got eliminated. Will Jack be able to handle the additional pressure of being in the bottom during part two of the finals next week? Will Corbin and Karina take home the mirror ball if they can pull out another performance like their freestyle this week? Tune in next week for part two of the finals and see who wins!
