Director of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day,” is attached to movie adaption of YA novel “All the Bright Places.”
Quick recap: Jennifer Niven’s All the Bright Places follows Theodore Finch and Violet Markey. Violet lives for the future while Theodore is obsessed with death, namely his own. When the two meet all the magic happens. It’s right up the alley of John Green and Rainbow Rowell fans. #feelings.
Elle Fanning, sister of Dakota and recent star of ‘Maleficent’ is attached as the optimistic Violet, while an actor has yet to be announced for Theodore. Maybe we can look forward to that announcement now that a director has come on board.
Miguel Arteta has helmed Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, Cedar Rapids and Youth in Revolt to name couple. With the project not expecting to begin production until 2016, we’ve got some to wait but we’re still excited!
