Ok Riverdale fans, hold on to your hats – Entertainment Weekly has released the first picture from the upcoming Riverdale flashback episode!
The episode is a flashback for our Riverdale parents as the episode will show all the current Riverdale adults as high schoolers. As if that wasn’t cool enough- the current Riverdale teens will be playing the younger versions of their parents! That means Camila Mendes as Young Hermione, KJ Apa as Young Fred Andrews, Cole Sporuse as the original serpent king FP, and Lili Reinhart as Serpent Alice Cooper!
The first image shows the Riverdale girls as their parental counterparts. Lili Reinhart is killin’ it as a Serpent, complete with dark makeup and leather. Camila Mendes is dressed more preppy, previewing a look at Hermione Lodge that we haven’t seen before. We also get a quick preview of young Penelope Blossom and young Mayor McCoy!

Guest stars are planned to make appearances in the much anticipated flashback episode. Mark Consuelos’ own son, Michael Consuelos, will be playing a young version of Hiram Lodge in his Riverdale debut. And, “The Breakfast Club” star Anthony Michael Hall will be playing the principal of the former Riverdale High.
We’re less than a month away from the episode’s premiere, and we can’t wait!!! The flashback episode of Riverdale, entitled “The Midnight Club,” will air Wednesday, November 7 at 8pm on The CW.
