We love it when one of our favorite actors has a breakout year. This year, that definitely applies to Lucas Till. Lucas was born in Fort Hood, Texas, however spent much of his time growing up in Georgia. He definitely displays that southern charm in everything he approaches.

We first got the chance to see Lucas shine in bit parts starting in 2003 but one of his most notable performances was in an episode of House M.D. That bit of dramatic acting prowess proved he was a worthy candidate for the Hannah Montana movie, his true breakout role as Travis Brody in 2009.

That lead to a real game changer: a turn as Alex Summers / Havok in X-Men: First Class. He will be reprising that role in X-Men: Days of Future Past and we can’t wait.

With every performance, Lucas gets better and better. Thankfully, he has numerous projects in the pipeline outside of X Men. He has at least six announced projects, including films with Merritt Patterson, Jane Levy, Danny Glover and Rob Lowe. Our favorite that we’re on the lookout for is the new Untitled Monster Trucks movie. Be sure to catch Lucas this May in the new X-Men movie to tide you over until your next fix!
