HSMTMTS: New Trailer Release and Confirmation for Season 4

This should be a great week for fans of the hit Disney+ show “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” – not only was a new trailer for the upcoming season released but the show was also confirmed for a 4th season.

The new season, which will be available to stream on Disney+ beginning July 27th, will follow all of our favorite East High students at Camp Shallow Lake as they put on a production of Frozen. In the first-look video released by Disney+, we are introduced to camp counselor, Dewey Wood, played by Disney Channel alum, Jason Earles, and star of the original series, Corbin Bleu. Between the returning and new members of the cast, this season will be packed with great performances across the board. It’ll also be exciting to see the Wildcats in the new setting of a sleepaway camp, which we can probably expect to create different dynamics among the students and make things interesting.

As we patiently await the release date for season 3, Disney+ has given us even more to look forward to, with the confirmation that there’s a 4th season in the works. On May 21st, an Instagram post by the official Disney+ account teased that we could get excited about even more HSMTMTS in the future. While much information on the 4th season is based on speculation since season 3 hasn’t even been released, fans are already putting forth theories about what lies in store for the future of the Wildcats. There aren’t too many details, but with the confirmation of a 4th season, we can guess that season 3 will leave a good amount of plot points open and left to be explored.
