*Sigh* All good things must come to an end, including season 3 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. We had such a great time watching our favorite characters take a summer vacation at Camp Shallow Lake, and absolutely loved all of the twists and turns that came with this season. Throughout the time the season was airing, YEM was able to sit down with a bunch of the cast members for some super fun, exclusive interview content. So, don’t fear because here at YEM, you can still get your HSMTMTS fix; here’s a recap of all of the great interviews we’ve done during the season!
First, we got started by talking to the awesome Matt Cornett! Matt plays EJ on HSMTMTS, and he was right at the center of this season as a part of the Portwell vs Rina love triangle. Then, we sat down with Saylor Bell Curda, who plays one of our favorite campers, Maddox. She told us all about what it was like to be a newcomer on this season. Speaking of newcomers, there were quite a few new additions to the cast this season, one of whom is Channing, our favorite cameraman, played by Ben Stillwell! Liamani Segura is another new cast member who told us all about her time on set as Emmy, including all of the behind-the-scenes friendships she made. We got to talk about so many interesting things about the new season with all of our faves – old and new!
One of the coolest interviews YEM has ever done was with Julia Lester, who plays Ashlyn in the show. Julia did a whole photoshoot and interview with us about her time on season 3 and also gave a little insight into what it was like being on Broadway’s production of Into the Woods! We also got to chat with our OTP, Seblos! Frankie Rodriguez and Joe Serafini told us all about Seb and Carlos on the show this season, and what’s in store for them in the future. We loved all of our interviews, and it was so great to have such a great photoshoot with Julia.
