“Mystery Girls” and “Young & Hungry” Pilot Pick-Ups


There are two upcoming ABC Family shows that are looking awfully good to us. We can’t wait for the reunion of Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth in Mystery Girls. Starring and exec-producing, the girls are teaming up once again as two former detective TV show starlets brought back together by a real-life mystery. Production starts in early 2014. They were the mean girls at West Beverly Hills High and we loved them. Do you think their chemistry will be the same twenty years later?

 

Another show on our radar is Young & Hungry, produced by one of our faves, Ashley Tisdale. It has to be great if she’s involved! She even tweeted recently, “Cant believe my first pilot I produced just got picked up to series!! #youngandhungry #abcfamily”. 21 year old, Emily Osment stars. Did you know her brother is actor, Haley Joel Osment? Young & Hungry follows a well-off young tech entrepreneur who meets Gabi, a feisty and youthful food blogger, looking to be his personal chef. This show looks so cute. We’re excited to see the relationship develop. ABC Family has some upcoming gems. Are you looking forward to watching?
