The Carrie Diaries S02E08 – The Second Time Around

In the midseason finale of The Carrie Diaries we saw some major things go down. Carrie got her first byline in Interview, which is huge! While she was riding high on that achievement, she had to part ways with Sebastian after a recent reconciliation. They didn’t break up though – rather, he got expelled for defending Maggie after she came clean to her dad about the pregnancy and got verbally harassed by Simon for doing so. Simon showed up at school and had the nerve to call Maggie a slut after he was the one that knocked her up while engaged to someone else, didn’t check on her when she ended up in the hospital because of the pregnancy, cheated on her and finally called her names at her own school. Understandably Sebastian punched him but now he’s moving to California as a result of his expulsion. He and Carrie are planning to try long distance with the support of Sebastian’s parents, but we all know how fickle young love is. Fingers crossed. Walt’s parents found out he was gay and kicked him out. He’s living with the Bradshaw’s for now, so here’s hoping he’s a great shoulder for Carrie to lean on with her upcoming relationship trials. Do you think Carrie and Sebastian will make it? Tune in when the show returns January 3rd to find out!
