The author of Words In The Dust and Divided We Fall comes back with a new tome that draws in staid fans and new audiences. Fans of Friday Night Lights will rip through Trent Reedy’s book about fathers, sons, coming of age and emotional reconciliations.

2. Switched At Birth

The third season finale of one of our favorite ABCF shows definitely tops the list of musts for this week. Commencement may be overshadowed by Carlton and Daphne, both dealing with major obstacles in their lives. Thankfully a renewal was just issued, ensuring we’ll be seeing more of SAB for seasons to come.


3. Breaking Butterflies

Breaking Butterflies  will appeal to fans of Fifty Shades of Grey…and beyond.  Loyalty, romance, loss, illness and more are explored in this stunning novel by M. Anjelais.


4. The Golden Echo

Kimbra’s new album is a tour-de-force and reminds us more than ever before why she burst onto the scene with such momentum. It’s been called a “master class” – make sure not to miss Teen Heat.


5.  The Fosters

The Fosters Summer finale brings more surprises, twists and turns than ever before. Callie’s going to jeopardize her relationships both professionally and personally. Connor’s relationship with his father will encroach on his life in a major way and band mates will go to places never before thought possible. Don’t miss this finale.

6. Where The Game Stands Tall

This movie appeals to multi-genre and all genders. Jim Cavizel, Laura Dern, Michael Chklis and more star in the tale about legendary football coach Bob Ladouceur and his path with the De La Salle High School Spartans.


7. Can’t Look Away

Fans of Jodi Picoult will love this unique view on social media, and what happens when the family members we love are affected by our digital actions.


8. If I Stay

Chloe Grace Moretz continues to establish herself as an acting powerhouse in the film adaptation of the supremely popular novel. Be prepared to laugh, cry and think in ways like never before.
    

9.  Storm Siren

Storm Siren will appeal to fans of The Hunger Games and Game of Thrones…the intersection is inevitable. Enter the world of Nym in the world-weary kingdom of Faelen…and prepare to leave an entirely different citizen with a new world and universe view.


10. Ignite The Night

Chase Rice has already established a strong fan base out of Nashville in just a few short years…and shows no signs of slowing down. His single Ready Set Roll is setting a new tenure for 2014…and hopefully beyond.

1. PLL 100th episode
The 100th episode of any show is a major milestone and The 100th episode of PLL, entitled “Miss Me X 100” has been amped up heavily by the show creator. It’s being hailed as emotionally epic, and one mystery we’ve been following for a long time is going to get cleared up…Will it be A? Tune in to find out.

 

2. The Half Life of Molly Pierce – Katrina Leno

We all forget things, but Molly feels like she’s missed out on more than most. When she discovers that literally half her life is unremembered secrets and an entire separate life, she starts to unravel and go down the rabbit hole in this thrilling novel.

 

3. Wild – Alex Mallory

Wild is a modern retelling of Tarzan, but is so much more than that. In this action packed and romantic tale a beloved story that has been told for hundreds of years is revisited and sure to bring in new fans as well as delight old ones.

 

4. Begin Again

Fans of Kiera Knightley and Adam Levine are sure to love this musical tale also starring Mark Ruffalo. We’re already in love with the soundtrack and are eagerly awaiting the flick to hit so we can watch the megastars sing it out.

 

5. In Deep – Terra Elan McVoy

Fans of Swimfan and anyone who loves a good thrilling tale is sure to flip over In Deep. In deep takes the best elements of a good competitive sports story, and follows ultracompetitive Brynn as she tries to balance the sport she loves, a super hot love interest and a wild best friend without getting in too deep.

 

6. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes chronicles ultra-intelligent simian Caeser as he presides over the fall of human civilization. The sequel to the 2011 Rise of the Planet of the Apes has an all-star cast including Gary Oldman and Judy Greer and is sure to delight summer audiences everywhere.

 

7. Where Silence Gathers – Kelsey Sutton

Kelsey Sutton manages to take the most elusive quality of emotions and personify them and weave them into a compelling tale in Where Silence Gathers. Sutton is a 20 year old currently enrolled in college, which makes this profound book even more impressive.

 

8. Hunter Hayes – The Journey

Similarly to Justin Bieber’s rise to fame at a beyond young age, Hunter Hayes has been captivating audiences since he was 4 years old. The Journey is the dvd that chronicles his tale – from learning to play the accordion at age 2, to performing for President Clinton at age 7 to hits like Wanted, Storm Warning and more.

 

9. Demon Derby – Carrie Harris

Fans of supernatural fare a la Buffy the Vampire Slayer are sure to fall head over heels for Demon Derby. Casey faced down cancer and in the wake decided to try getting involved in a new, thrilling sport…roller derby. What she wasn’t anticipating were the supernatural forces trying to take her down, which throw hits harder than any regular derby girl.

 

10. Young and Hungry

We can’t get enough of this charming cast. In this week’s episode “Young and Lesbian” more drama than ever unfolds between Gabi, Josh and the rest of the gang. We can’t wait!
