Atlanta – Need to Feel // Faking It, Season 1 Episode 5

This track plays in Twain when Liam and Shane are there on a pick up mission, and they spot the gorgeous Peter/Petra twins. This track is a more of a club banger than a smooth seduction soundtrack, but whatever, it seemed to fit the aggressively desperate mood of Liam in the scene! This was the debut single from production team In Atlanta and dropped in late 2013.

Echosmith – Let’s Love // Awkward. – Season 4, Episode 6

This track is playing as Ashlee shares a cosy moment with new boyfriend Luke, which is then ruined by her dad repeatedly calling. Echosmith have now featured several times on the website and our love for this teenage SoCal sibling foursome grows every day. Echosmith are touring the US extensively over the summer so we hope you get a chance to see them. Until then, check out the track below:

The Antlers – Kettering // The 100 – Season 1, Episode 10

Raven tells Finn off over his feelings for Clarke and breaks up with him whilst this maudlin song by The Antlers plays out in the background. The keyboard track and reverberating vocal make us feel like we’ve been broken up with too. Kettering is pulled from The Antlers’ third studio album Hospice, and incidentally was also used in the hit TV series Chuck. Apparently the whole album is based around the story of the relationship between a hospice worker and a female patient suffering from terminal cancer so maybe not music to listen to on a rainy day?

Eric Clapton/Steve Winwood – Can’t Find My Way Home // Supernatural – Season 9, Episode 23

Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood give it to us during the scene where Sam watches over Dean’s body and then summons Crowley to help get him back. Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood are two seminal blues musicians who have been recording music since the 1960’s. Eric’s first band was called Cream; and they’re well worth a listen. If you don’t believe us, ask your dad!

Zola Jesus – Avalanche // Star Crossed – Season 1, Episode 13

This track is playing as Roman seduces Emery and they end up making love. Boom chik a wow wow! Zola is from Phoenix Arizona, although, as her exotic name may suggest, she’s actually Russian American. Zola provided the guest vocals on M83‘s song Intro from their smash album Hurry Up We’re Dreaming, and has had the title track from her album, In Your Nature, remixed by the super edgy film maker David Lynch. We think she’s kind of cool; check out her track below!
