Deorro – Elevated // Teen Wolf, Season 4 Episode 1

This is the track playing in the club when Severo unleashes wolfbane into the club. It’s a real head banger from Steve Aoki’s record label Dim Mak records. Deorro is a 22 year old house producer who hails from Los Angeles and who has also been known to tinkle a little keyboard. He’s also remixed tracks by big dogs like Diplo and Laidback Luke.

Gabe Dixon – One Thing // Beauty and the Beast, Season 2 Episode 20

Gabe Dixon is crooning as Tess tells JT what happened to Cat and Vincent in the suburbs. Gabe Dixon started the Gabe Dixon band in 1998 at the University of Miami, but in 2009 decided to go it alone. One Thing was released as a single on June 17th of this year.

Scattered Trees – On Your Side // Degrassi Season 13, Episode 34

Becky logs into World of Doom and breaks up with Sir Excellence, and this emotional track plays in the background. It may be the internet, but people still have feelings! Scattered Trees was a band from Chicago which actually broke up in 2012, and if you feel like crying over the band’s demise, this seems like a pretty perfect song to do it to.

Great Pagans – Slow Crash // Awkward. Season 4, Episode 11

This track by Great Pagans plays as Jenna’s dad is brought down from the mountain by a mountain rescue team. Awk-ward, indeed. Great Pagans are a four piece outfit from Brighton, UK, whose debut album is due out in the fall. If you like understated indie jams, this is your band.

Icky Blossoms – Babes // Pretty Little Liars, Season 5, Episode 3

Hanna and Emily speculate about whether Jason murdered Mrs DiLaurentis as they drive back to Ravenswood with this song playing in the background. It’s a little offbeat and dark so it’s perfect for the scene. Icky Blossoms are a three piece from Omaha, Nebraska who formed in 2011 and one of their members, Nik Fackler, also happens to be an acclaimed indie film director! It’s evident from looking at their website that they have a quirky style that extends beyond their music. Check out the wicked track below!
