Up-and-Comer Mackenzie Foy
Mackenzie Foy has accomplished a ton in her 14 years! She plays Young Murph in the forthcoming sci-fi film Interstallar, daughter of Matthew McConaughey’s character Cooper. The film takes place over a long period of time, and Mackenzie shares the role with Jessica Chastain (The Help, Mama), who plays Murph when she is an adult.

Mackenzie started out, as many young actors do, on television, making appearances on Hawaii 5-0, ‘Til Death, and Flash Forward, all from ages 9 to 10. Her first film appearance was in 2011’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, followed immediately by the sequel and final chapter, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 in 2012. Mackensie plays Renesmee, Bella and Edward’s vampire-human hybrid.

Also in 2012, Mackensie provided her voice for the American version of the book-to-screen animated film Ernest & Celestine. Mackenzie voices Celestine, a mouse who shares an unlikely friendship with a bear.

In 2013, Mackenzie appeared in the utterly horrifying film The Conjuring as Cindy Perron, who was based on one of the children living in the haunted house. Later on in 2013, Mackenzie starred in her first period piece, Wish You Well, a brother-sister coming-of-age drama set in 1940s Virginia.

In addition to Interstellar, Mackenzie starred in another film in 2014. She provided voice talent again for a direct-to-dvd animated version of The Boxcar Children, based on the popular series of books by Gertrude Chandler Warren.
