Natasha Ngan’s epic trilogy comes to a close with Girls of Fate and Fury. Ngan’s intricate writing and complex storytelling help secure her trilogy a spot on this list.

2. Infinity Cycle by Adam Silvera

Adam Silvera’s continues this story with his sequel to Infinity Son. YEM is impressed with Silvera’s knack for creating this alternate reality of New York and can’t wait to see where he takes things next.

3. The Ferryman Trilogy by Claire McFall

Claire McFall’s trilogy offers a unique and detailed look into the bridge between life and death. With the trilogy set to be a major motion picture, its spot on the list feels warranted.

4. Ascendance by Jennifer A. Nielsen

Nielsen’s series continues to deliver shocking twists and high-stakes action in its fifth installment. Its ability to continue raising the stakes so far into the series leaves us here at YEM craving more.

5. Ember of Night by Molly E. Lee

Molly Lee’s story continues in Shadow of Night as Haley takes a trip to the Ather, also known as the realms of Hell. This tale will leave readers on the edge of their seats as it did here at YEM.
