While living in these uncertain times, one thing is for sure: streaming services are saviors, pastimes, and serve as a mode of excitement. With everyone now at home, binging the day away is realistic for some.
If you have a Hulu or are thinking of getting one, here are some potential teen shows to watch:
Awkward
Awkward (2011-2016) follows the awkward Jenna Hamilton (Ashley Rickards), a high school sophomore who must change her image after a mistaken incident leaves her scrambling to save face.
Not only that, but she must deal with the normal rigors of high school too. This includes the drama, classes, sneaking out, parties, a crazy guidance counselor, and boys.
Watch as the teen grows throughout her high school journey, learns about herself, and forms her identity in life. Easier said than done, but with BFFs Tamara (Jillian Rose Reed) and Ming (Jessica Lu), cheery Lissa (Greer Grammer), considerate Jake (Brett Davern), hunky Matty (Beau Mirchoff), and even snobby Sadie (Molly Tarlov), Hamilton has all the support to succeed. Five seasons of this teen show are available.

One Tree Hill
Running from 2003-2012, one of the long-lasting teen shows is One Tree Hill, which was a staple on the old WB/newer CW network. Currently on Hulu, many TV lovers who didn’t watch the show growing up have a chance to do so now.
There are a whopping nine seasons available. The show centers around the life of half-brothers Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan Scott (James Lafferty), who must go through high school together. They don’t always see eye-to-eye and thus a rivalry blossoms between the two in regards to their roles on the basketball team and love interests. Watch as these two develop their relationship with each other and different people throughout high school.
The show also features Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton, and Bethany Joy Lenz.
Greek
Airing from 2007-2011, another one of the teen shows on Hulu is called Greek. It follows new college student Rusty Cartwright (Jacob Zachar), a geek who tries to get involved with the Greek by joining a frat. College life is a whole different animal. And the main character must deal with all the adjustments that come with it.
Luckily, he has older sister Casey (Spencer Grammer) to help him every step of the way along with friends Dale Kettlewell (Clark Duke) and Calvin Owens (Paul James).
Hulu has a ton of other teen shows to check out like The OC, Dawson’s Creek, and several Freeform Shows. There’s no shortage of content!
