About the Book Character:
Harry James Potter is a half-blood wizard, the only child and son of James and Lily Potter. Harry’s birth was overshadowed by a prophecy that said he may be the one with the power to vanquish Lord Voldemort. After hearing the prophecy, Voldemort murdered Harry’s parents as they tried to protect him. Harry henceforth was known as the “Boy Who Lived.”
Harry Potter began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where he met Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The Sorting Hat was initially going to Sort Harry into Slytherin House, but Harry pleaded ‘not Slytherin’ and the Hat heeded this plea, instead sorting the young wizard into Gryffindor House. He later became the youngest Quidditch Seeker in over a century and eventually the captain of the Gryffindor House Quidditch Team.
After finally defeating Voldemort, Harry helped reform and revolutionize the Ministry of Magic. He married Ginny Weasley, with whom he had three children: James Sirius, Albus Severus, and Lily Luna. Harry was promoted to Head of the Auror Office and later went on to be Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement by the summer of 2020.

About the Disney Character: Young Macintosh is a character from the Disney and Pixar movie Brave. Son of the Lord of Clan Macintosh, he is one of the suitors who seeks Princess Merida’s hand in marriage.
