In episode 12 of The Young Entertainment Podcast, Daniella and Mordechai are joined by Chelsea Clark, who stars as Norah in the Netflix hit show Ginny & Georgia, with season three out now! If you’ve ever wanted a podcast to learn from the stars and get the best masterclass tips and tricks for launching your own career, you’ve come to the right place!

Chelsea has risen to stardom with her roles in massive hit shows. She played Esme Song in four seasons of Degrassi: Next Class for which she was nominated for a Joey Award for “Best Series Regular or Leading Actress in a TV Series 16 Years & Over. She has also starred in the thriller The Protector. And since 2021, she has played the iconic Norah in Ginny & Georgia, one of Netflix’s most popular shows, which was also renewed for a season four!

Chelsea: “Because the series has spanned over so many years, we’ve all grown so much.”

Season three has been teased as the most dramatic and explosive season yet, as we last saw Georgia being arrested for murder during her wedding. The entire cast reprises their characters, and all we know is it is going to be a wild ride.

It’s been over two years since season two of the show premiered, and Chelsea said coming back to film the first scene of a new season is always a little nerve wracking but afterwards the entire cast fell back into their characters and the close friendships they have!

Chelsea: “Getting the rapport back with [the cast] is so easy. It’s a very silly group.”

We are so so excited for season three and while Chelsea couldn’t spoil anything, she teased some internal struggles for Norah this season, but there is so much energy and excitement around the plotline. Chelsea said her favorite scene to film was the school dance scene and even revealed she took improv classes ahead of season three to prep!

“My favorite thing from season three is the school dance that we have.”

Audiences can connect to any character in Ginny & Georgia, and Chelsea said she resonated most with Max and Abby’s storylines this season and the theme of friendship and platonic love.

And even better, the big group scenes are back and better than ever, and Chelsea said she absolutely loves to hang with everyone in the cast.

Chelsea: “You really have to build your stamina and keep your positivity and endurance during group scenes to make it through.”

We of course had to ask about Degrassi and Chelsea said it was good for it to have a little break but she would love to see it revamped and come back, and this is now all we’re manifesting.

Because season two was filmed during the pandemic, Chelsea said her favorite part of the whole season was the wrap party thrown at the end, because it combined season two and season three wrap parties in one, which was double the fun.

Chelsea: “We were doing two wrap parties in one.”

Chelsea was such a joy to chat with again, and we are so excited to binge season three. And once again, this podcast is for you, the fans! We want to know who you want to hear and learn from and have many exciting guests and stories coming up in future episodes! Consider this:

  • If you’ve never tried improv, give it a chance! It’s a great way to come out of your shell and become more in tune with body acting.
  • Explore all aspects of life, don’t limit yourself. When you learn to listen to other people’s stories and experiences and try new things, it’ll help you to better understand yourself and the characters you play.
