Love, Victor star Michael Cimino has shown fans time and time again that he’s loaded with talent. This past Friday was no different; in an Instagram post, Cimino announced the song’s release with a sweet caption that reads: “So this song was heavily inspired by the music I grew up listening to. The idea was to make a song people can dance with their aunties to just like I used to.”
Listening to the song, fans will want to do just that. It has clear Latin influences, mixing traditional instrumentals with more modern, synthesized beats. People are sure to appreciate the unique balance of old and new that Cimino has clearly taken the time to perfect. It’s flirty, it’s fun, and it’s absolutely perfect for the summertime.
Cimino’s music career launched back in 2021 with the release of “Love Addict.” Since then, he’s come out with four other songs (three of which are featured on one of YEM’s exclusive Love, Victor playlist!). He hasn’t dropped an album yet, but this latest song proves that he’s got the talent and the musical versatility to create one.
